b) Technical points
Intelligent grid software suppresses ray-scattering effects, reduces image noise, and improves edge definition. When the ray reaches the surface of the detector, it is no longer necessary to use physical grid filtering, and the scattered and straight rays are all sampled. The method decomposes the digital image from high to low frequency into a multi-band image; performs de-scattering processing on the low-frequency band image, and performs contrast enhancement processing on the high-frequency band image. The processed images are combined to form an output image. In digital radiography, the effects of scattered radiation are eliminated, the dose of radiation is reduced, and image quality is improved.
